The following photos were provided by Bill and Marilyn Fitzsimmons who traveled all the way from Atlanta, Georgia for Yap’s First Annual Homecoming Festival. Bill and Marilyn lived on Yap from 1976 until 1980. Bill worked for the Yap District Finance Office of the TTPI and then as general manager of Waab Transportation. Marilyn worked for Headstart and later was the first librarian at Yap High School.
Bill and Marilyn said returning to Yap after 31 years was the trip of a lifetime. They said that they were received so graciously and were able tp visit many friends while on island.
