Banner Stands Created for WWII Historic Preservation with Missing Air Crew Project

The Yap Visitors Bureau has been fortunate to be able to work with Patrick Ranfranz in preserving Yap Island's unique WWII history. Pat has offered to share his years of detailed research conducted for his Missing Air Crew Project www.missingaircrew.com with the people of Yap Island. The Yap Visitors Bureau is planning activities and projects to preserve this important part of the Island's history for residents and visitors.

During a recent visit to Yap, Pat presented two portable double sided banner stands with four banners. These Banner stands fit into a small carrying cases, are portable, roll up or down in seconds, are easy to setup, and the graphics look great. The banners depict various events that took place in Yap, including the story of the Hellcat recently saved from a government landfill project.
