Next Canoe Festival
The Yap Living History Museum has announced that the 7th Annual Canoe Festival will be held on Saturday December 5, 2015. This year the festival will feature Traditional Sailing and Paddling Canoe races as well as International Canoe and totang races. There will be many other activities for this one day festival, including traditional dances, demonstrations and other events.
The Canoe festival will be held at the Yap Living History Museum grounds starting at 11 AM with the parade of traditional sailing canoes. Come help us celebrate our navigational heritage. For additional information contact Yap Visitors Bureau at yvb@mail.fm
