The highly optimized and attractive site reflects the new branding of the destination and showcases the main tourism product offerings that make Yap one of the best kept secrets and must visit spots in Micronesia.</p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A significant amount of the content focuses on the two main attractors for visitors – scuba diving and cultural heritage products. To portray these and other pertinent tourism information, several customized maps are available on the site including an interactive one for scuba diving. Other maps cover the cultural heritage and World War 11 sites, businesses and attractions around the capital Colonia, and how to get Yap.</p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">“The launch of our new visityap.com site is another important marketing milestone for us and comes on the heels of our recently completed tourism branding exercise,” comments Susan Gooliyan, General Manager of the Yap Visitors Bureau. “These are all part of our overall promotional efforts to grow the tourism sector on Yap and help shore up our other marketing efforts in the areas of advertising, social media, sales promotions and supporting our private sector in attending key trade shows.”</p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>ABOUT YAP: </u></strong>Yap is an island in the Federated States of Micronesia in the Pacific Ocean that is ringed by spectacular coral reefs and famous for its scuba diving with giant manta rays, sharks and mandarin fish.
