Yap FSM – Pacific Mission Aviation (PMA) announced plans to expand its flight schedule between Yap and Palau with the introduction of an additional weekly Friday flight beginning in January 2027.
Under the new schedule, the Friday flight will depart from Yap and return on the same day, providing an additional travel option for passengers traveling between the two destinations.
According to PMA Chief Pilot Amos Collins, the airline is now accepting reservations for its 2027 flights.
The additional weekly Friday service will expand PMA’s flight services and provide greater access and flexibility between Yap and Palau for both international and local travelers. In particular, international visitors and divers will be able to travel to Yap via the recently
launched direct international flights to Palau from Australia.
PMA currently operates two one-way scheduled flights between Yap and Palau each week:
- Yap to Palau: Tuesdays (departs Yap at 2:00 PM)
- Palau to Yap: Wednesdays (departs Palau at 10:00 AM)
