When Patricia and I opened Yap Divers back in 1986, we never imagined that forty years later we’d still be here welcoming guests from around the world.
Somewhere along the way, many of you stopped feeling like guests and simply became friends.
As we begin celebrating our 40th Anniversary this week, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has been part of this incredible journey—our staff, our local community, and all of the wonderful people who have shared Yap with us over the years.
I’ve written a short letter reflecting on the past forty years. I hope you’ll take a moment to read it.
