Yap offers two full-service resorts, who also operate the only two full-service dive shops on Yap. While tourist accommodation is limited, these meet international standards and are supported by a number of smaller inn and apartment style properties.

MANTA RAY BAY RESORT

This PADI 5 Star resort located in the heart of Colonia has 35 spacious rooms all with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, hot and cold water, telephone, blow dryers, with TVs/DVDs and mini fridges available on request. Most rooms have sweeping harbour views and there are a number of de-luxe Ocean View rooms with plunge pools or Jacuzzis.

Dining is a unique experience at the Manta Ray Bay Resort, the Mnuw, a 110-year-old 170-foot South Seas schooner, is moored beside the resort and has been converted to a multi -deck restaurant and bar, where you can also enjoy a beer from the resort's in-house microbrewery, the Stone Money Brewing Company. Guests can also relax by the resort's bay-side infinity pool, unwind at the Taro Leaf Spa and shop for souvenirs and necessities in the Boutique store.

Yap is world renowned for its manta and shark diving and Manta Ray Bay's Dive Centre offers state-of-the art facilities and eight dive boats that can transport divers to the more than 44 dive sites that surround the island. Located on Chamorro Bay and just a 10-minute walk to the centre of Colonia, this family-owned and operated business offers 40 well-appointed rooms. Located on the edge of Colonia, the hotel is situated on a quiet road just about a 10-minute walk from the centre of Colonia and caters to the budget traveller. All the restaurants in Yap are located in the Colonia area and they offer a wide selection of cuisines, ranging from local Yapese to Asian and International dishes, all offered in casual settings. Fresh fish and seafood are always on the menu, with very reasonably priced local sashimi - always a popular choice. Most supermarkets in Colonia also offer a range of takeout lunches – make sure to pick up and try the musubi (sushi made with spam).

OCEANIA'S RESTAURANT

This popular and well-regarded restaurant is located in Chamorro Bay in Colonia. Only dinner service is currently offered, but the menu offers a wide range of cuisine and changes daily in order to utilize as much fresh, local produce and seafood as possible. Oceania's Restaurant offers wide selection of wine, beer, cocktails and soft drinks.
